David Ramírez-Gálvez devotes his career to vindicating workers’ rights. He represents workers in state court, federal court, and arbitrations in matters ranging from workplace discrimination to wage and hour violations. Recognizing that no two cases are the same, David’s approach is dynamic and flexible; the only constants are his great care, intellectual vigor, and relentless advocacy.
David’s commitment to vindicating workers’ rights is deep-rooted and personal. Hearing stories of grand marches and boycotts from his migrant farmworker grandparents taught David, “¡Sí se puede!” At the same time, seeing employers cheat his father and uncles out of fair wages showed him that there is still a long way to go. These lived experiences afford David a uniquely comprehensive perspective—one that is empathetic, barrier-free, and culturally relevant.
David holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School and a B.A. in Political Theory from UCLA. Prior to joining Alexander Krakow + Glick LLP, David worked at Susman Godfrey LLP, where he represented plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial matters. Before that, David served as a law clerk to the Honorable Gregg J. Costa on the U.S. Court of Appeals in Houston, TX.
